Schleswig-Holstein’s Minister of Economics Claus Ruhe Madsen and Lübeck’s Mayor Jan Lindenau exchanged views on various topics and challenges that the DEHAS team is currently dealing with and will be dealing with in the future during a tour of the company building. In addition to the new image plans, this also included the presentation of the latest innovation from DEHAS, the QualityMix PRO gas mixer, which, among other things, enables an electronically controlled oxygen supply.
„The vertical range of manufacture of the medical gas mixers developed and produced by us is very high. The majority of our products and the necessary preliminary products are manufactured by us and assembled, packed and shipped here in Lübeck.“, reports Managing Director Jens Mittendorf. A little more than 14 months ago, the company moved into a new building in Lübeck-Schlutup. “Here we have the opportunity to grow further. By 2026, our metalworking department is to move onto the site here, so that the interlinking of development, production and assembly can take place even better. The plan for the extension is already in place“, Jens Mittendorf explains.
In addition, the policy and business representatives discussed topics such as access opportunities and advisory services around public (innovation) funding or progress in the digitalisation of industrial companies such as DEHAS.
„I am very happy every time I have the opportunity to meet companies and entrepreneurs live, to see what they move and to hear what moves them. The visit to DEHAS once again very clearly underlines the innovative strength in medical technology here in Schleswig-Holstein. Maintaining and further promoting this potential is an important ongoing task for us in politics..” Minister Madsen underlined at the end of the visit.
